Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using Ruby ("Service"), you agree to these terms. If you're using Ruby on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
2. Service description
Ruby provides company identification services for B2B websites. We identify which companies visit your website based on IP address matching. We do not identify individuals.
3. Your responsibilities
- You must own or have permission to add our script to your website
- You must use the data for legitimate B2B sales and marketing purposes
- You must not attempt to reverse-engineer our technology
- You must not resell or redistribute the data without permission
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Ruby to:
- Identify or track individuals
- Spam or harass companies or their employees
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Compete with Ruby or build a similar service
5. Payment and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually
- Prices are in EUR and exclude VAT where applicable
- You can cancel anytime; service continues until end of billing period
- No refunds for partial months
6. Data ownership
- You own your customer data and the insights derived from your website
- We own the underlying technology and company database
- We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our service
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. We'll notify you of planned maintenance when possible.
8. Limitation of liability
Ruby is provided "as is". We're not liable for:
- Accuracy of company identification (best-effort basis)
- Business decisions made based on our data
- Indirect or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months.
9. Termination
Either party can terminate at any time. Upon termination:
- Your access to Ruby ends
- We'll delete your data within 30 days (unless legally required to keep it)
- You can request a data export before termination
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Paris.
